Children in Worship

Children are always, always welcome in worship.  How else do children learn how to worship?  It is an experience. During worship, children can learn how to pray, to sing God’s praises, and hear what it means to share God’s love with others. Children are a part of the family of God and they need to be included. It is important for all of us to help one another to worship God.

We do have worship bags that have items to aid with worship. There are bookmarks for hymns. This helps the children become familiar with our hymnal and gives them a little message on the bookmark about the hymn and why it may have been selected. There are also coloring pages for children who get fidgity.

The most important thing to remember is that children are welcome in worship. If they are getting wiggly and impatient, know that it will not bother the worship leaders. If at any time they make you too uncomfortable, please know that we have an area in our Friendship Room that allows you, the parent, to still hear the worship service while they can play.
